WG-Con WiP Pics: Team Tournament HQ
So for the team tournament, the Card Pimp in Question and I are busting out a TyraCron combo. The HQ's are a Prime and a certain over-priced Necron Lord who drops lightning out of a clear blue sky.
The conversions I wanted to make present some unique challenges...
The Prime amalgamation. He's magnatized so he can sit on a larger base, but... |
...his foot hangs off too much. Just not workable. So, a little half-moon base to fit in place... |
...and voila! |
Here's the Adepticon Limited Edition mini. Turns out, I happen to think he can produce lightning! He's metal, after all, and he's got these honking big attractors he's lugging around. I rearranged the legs; obviously one foot is supporting the weight of the model on a standard-sized base, while the rear foot is providing some support. It's hard to see, but two toes are touching the ground. |
Both are actually fairly stable. The other models will be standard Necrons and Nids, painted in yellows; the former in metal and the latter in browns, but yellow nonetheless. |
