Why is there blood on the side opposite the dead guy?
I modeled and painted him as if he was getting shot from behind... because he's running, of course - big ol' Ultramarine coward he is.
The vast majority of the blood is on each successive exit wound. If your asking why there is blood behind his head... well, I painted it as if it was dribbling, but it bothers me some, since this is obviously a wound that just happened.
I may have to fix that.

No my problem is that there should be little or no blood on the side facing the camera. Any blood that splattered from the exit wound would have hit the side away from the camera.
Unless he was looking through a peep hole and got shot?
