Except for a few moderate touchups, I'm happy with the tabletop quality of the first Troops choice for my Brotherhood HoganWing army. Less than two weeks - will I make it?
There's some flash on the backpacks that I missed in the cleanup step, but I simply don't have the time to reclean and repaint the backpacks before the tournament, so that'll have to wait. I will be drilling the gun barrels, though.
I was able to shorten a step in the painting process... a rather huge step...
(More on that - and let's not forget the continuation of Running a 2500 Point Tournament - next time on Strictly Average Presents!)

Ok on a serious note.... if you're doing a "Hoganwing" army... why aren't your troops terminators?
The whole point for a Loganwing army is to emulate the strengths of a Deathwing army and terminator armor (although our almighty Deathwing do it better again thanks to the new DA FAQ).
There are Terminators in the list - you just ain't seen them yet!
They look really good, I have to say.
I'm not particularly a fan of the blue feet, but the overall look of the models are really nice. They look like rogue marines doing their own thing, and they look different to all the other marines I've seen.
