Afternoon Quickie: Fantasy and some WiP pics
Or as we like to call Fantasy in our area, Amateur Night! We are none of us all that great at this game, but with the FLGS owner asking for a push...
...why, push I will! If it doesn't work once, I'll push it again - what are we talking about again?
I played Sam-I-Am at the store a few nights ago.

The table. Units marching out. This game was characterized by skirmishing and light cavalry fighting it out on the right flank, moving in and out for position, whilst my heavy-duty-booty smashing units marched up the center. Sam had the answers... but as is usual for the man's poor luck, he managed to blow himself up. A few times. Three, I think. Ouch. |

I had to repair bad boy, my Warrior Prime kit-bash for the Nids-Necrons mash-up at WarGames Con. He's magnetized on the bottom, so he can fit to a bigger base... |
|
...but I forgot and dropped him. I switched out the arms on the left half and effected some internal strengthening pinning. |
|
Last but not least are the test models for the Chaos army I'll be tackling in a short bit. The first on the left is 'done' while the later two need a bit more. Number 2 is the Iron Warrior, so right shoulder stripes and paint the weapons; Number 3 is Rusty-McNurgle, so a heavy wash and build up the flesh tones over the green.
All these are easy techniques, good for batch painting. |
And I probably won't use any of the schemes... me and the airbrush still have to get comfortable!
