Plastics Make it Possible

I snagged this picture from Ye Ol' Blogosphere and I love it on a bunch of different levels.

If I knew who did it I'd be happy to give him credit, but I've lost track of the notes I made that day.  It was back when I was Stealing Content.

Yes, it's capitalized!  I stopped that series 'cause I ain't good with links.

This is an example of kit-bashing at its finest.  I count pieces from 5 different armies but they gel beautifully to make one great centerpiece.  A bit of cardstock and greenstuff later and voila!

Il y a tres beau miniature.  C'est vrai.

So, why am I bringing it up today?

Because it makes for an easy post.

Because I'm inspired I am!

I've been busy busy busy but the busy busy busy is passing.  I'm ready to dive in to hobby content on a number of different levels.

Pics, reports, conversions, armies, Indies, trips, podcasts (what?)... the list goes on!  I think it's exciting; hopefully I can pass that on to you, my little chickies!

I got my new Warriors of Chaos army in the mail yesterday.  I actually captured me opening the box on video - talk about a dork Christmas!  I embarrassed myself with the gushing, I think.

But you don't want to see that, do you?

The dude is using the funds to make another army.  Obviously cavalry armies have problems in 8th, but I don't care!  I've wanted a Chosen Knights unit for ten forevers... now I have several!
I'm going to be repainting the army, but his colors have inspired me.  I'm going to get BSMoove's assistance with a rusty scheme.
My plan is to use big units of Knights, not just multiple 5-strong units.
I'll be getting my first game in today, so I'll bring you the results.  In 40K news, I've got a big event coming up so I need to stay in practice.

Me and Evil Homer will be bringing you some video battle reports very soon.

Brent out!

  1. Yus! Warriors of Chaos! I'm excited to see how they work for you and what you end up doing with them. (Admit it, I'm the reason why you picked them up :P)

  2. Lol!

I'd forgot you were working on them, but I'm not sure rainbows will work with the rust effect I'll be doing...
