It's useful to get the idea out there though.

It'll shake out.

I'm still convinced we did it right. There was only one model to contact and I could do it without a D/T test. There rest of my models piled in.

I'm actually of the opinion that the assaulting unit must attempt to contact as many models as possible following the rules as outlined... meaning if you can reach models that are in terrain and they haven't been engaged through a normal assault move, you must make the difficult terrain test.

This can stop you from reaching, of course.

Jawa's example of one model poking out of terrain with other models in terrain next to him is a good example. Though the 'closest to closest' move doesn't require a test, the other models attempting to engage unengaged models would.

Therefore a test is called for.

Since I've taken the time to type this, I'm going to drop it like a turd over at Bell! It will be another pebble in the pond!

BrentBrenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07426628265866457542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4349292176380807894.post-91285742629062949722010-05-23T20:33:45.354-05:002010-05-23T20:33:45.354-05:00Dunno, we might have done the assault wrong with t...Dunno, we might have done the assault wrong with the last game we played.

http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2010/05/40k-more-obvious-rules-questions.htmlFleahosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11656242101666062130noreply@blogger.com
