This I don't believe. I was around for Rogue Trader, so maybe Imperial Robots will come back one day - like they have for 30K - but this has got to be a joke. I think I've seen the image from the weapon on a Forge World Rhino chassis variant. That bot looks too Manga.

Regarding the others, my initial impression is F*^K(^G AWFUL...
...but we've played that game before, right Blogosphere? The shady, out of context pics don't always match up to the reality. The Storm Raven and Storm Talon come to mind. Especially the latter, but I dig those kits. The initial pictures were a bust, though.
By the way, look what comes up first in Google Images if you put in 'Storm Raven!'

The vanguard and sternguard plastics look better, but none of these (even the fake one at the end) interests me. The stalker looks retarded. I would think about some of this since I do have a ton of marines but a ~58 dollar codex is just not getting me interested.

Now if some one would crack a window in the design studio so they could stop working with all those super glue fumes maybe we would get some consistent designs from them...

The new telutubby armour looks like a joke.....Is GW even trying anymore? I mean you got 25some years of lore to fall back on this is what they come up with?
ReplyDeleteLike to see what the new codex has rule wise maybe flesh out some of the first founding chapters. Iron hands could use a boost do we know if they added any new special characters? With Black Templars rolled into the new book maybe will get a new army like mechanicius.
At least they got something right with making stern/van guard kits plastic glad I kept my metal ones.
