Warmachine!

I've recently started playing Warmachine, a game I hated in Mark I and am loving in Mark II.  I'm collecting Menoth; here's what I've painted so far.

I set out to use the two colors I'm weakest with, white and red.  I go back and forth on these.

  1. Very nice, clean line work!

So, what do you like about the game, now, that you didn't like then?

  2. They look good to me. The white is very smooth which is my biggest hangup painting it.

I started WM when the MKII field test ended and I've been loving it.

  3. Nice work, dude. I like how you've taken the customary Menoth colours and done something distinctive with them - it's still in the same room as a studio scheme but would never be mistaken for one, and that's a fine place to be in.

  4. I'm saying little new - I have the same questions as Gonewild, and I agree with Simon on the look and smooth white, and with Von on the clever adaptation.

Does this mean more Warmachine posts? Your perspective is sure to be interesting.

  5. Superb colour scheme, it really sets them apart form the crowd. How did you think that one up ?

The colours are also quite fitting for Warmachine, uch more so that 40K which is far too militaristic in my opinions.

Great work, keep it up and keep sharing those pics.

  6. I never would have thought of blue as an accent color. You've managed red, white & blue without looking like a flag, a good feat.

    Who's your favorite caster?

  7. Good choice in faction! From one Protectorate player to another. :)

It's a nice paint job - I think the blue could maybe use some darker shading, but otherwise it looks really good, and that's a nice white.

  8. Very nice! That is definitely a unique color scheme for the Menites.

  9. I'm teetering on the edge of starting up a Cryx army. I've gotten to play a few games with a guy at work and found it to be just as fun as 40k, just for different reasons I guess.
